Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. Optional cookies (analytics and marketing) are off until you agree in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Strictly necessary
- mcg_consent: remembers your cookie choices for up to 6 months.
- payload-token: set only when a MyClubGG staff member signs in to the content management area. Regular visitors never receive it.
Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver the site securely and block abuse.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (possibly via Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages and tools are useful. It may set _ga and ga[ID] cookies (up to 2 years). We don’t use analytics for advertising.
Marketing (only with your consent)
If we run ad campaigns and you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel may set _fbp (up to 3 months) to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups. It stays off unless you opt in.
Session storage
When you arrive from a campaign link, we keep the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab, so a newsletter or contact form can tell us which campaign brought you. Nothing is stored after the session ends.
Local storage
- mcg_onboarding: remembers that you closed or answered the “Free personal onboarding” box, so we don’t show it again for 7 days (or at all, once you’ve asked for help). It contains no personal details.
Managing cookies
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent removes our analytics and marketing cookies.
