Poker odds calculator

Enter two or more hands and, optionally, the board. The calculator deals out the remaining cards thousands of times and reports how often each hand wins or ties. On the flop and turn it checks every possible runout, so the numbers are exact.

What “equity” means

Equity is your share of the pot if all the remaining cards were dealt out with no more betting. If your hand wins 60% of the time and never ties, your equity is 60%. Ties split the pot, so a hand that ties 10% of the time earns half of that share.

Equity is not the same as expected value. It ignores future betting, folds and position, which is why it is best used to review all-in spots and to build intuition about hand match-ups.

Exact results vs simulation

Preflop there are about 1.7 million possible five-card boards in a heads-up Hold’em hand, so the calculator samples 20,000 random boards (6,000 for PLO). The result is typically within about half a percentage point of the exact figure.

Once the flop is known, only one or two cards are left to come. The calculator then checks every possible turn and river, so flop and turn results are exact.

Omaha rules are applied correctly

In PLO and PLO5 a player must use exactly two hole cards and exactly three board cards. The calculator enforces this. For example, holding one spade on a four-spade board is not a flush in Omaha, and the calculator scores it that way.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is this poker odds calculator?

Flop and turn results are exact because every remaining card combination is checked. Preflop results come from 20,000 simulated boards in Hold’em (6,000 in PLO), which is typically within about ±0.5 percentage points.

Can I calculate odds for more than two players?

Yes. You can add up to nine hands, and each one gets its own equity, win and tie percentage.

What is the difference between win % and equity?

Win % counts only outright wins. Equity adds your share of split pots. For example, winning 40% and tying 10% in a two-way pot gives 45% equity.

Can I use this calculator while playing on ClubGG?

No. It is built for study and hand review away from the table. Using outside assistance during live play may break the rules of poker apps, including ClubGG. Check the app’s terms of service.
