Summary
We collect as little personal data as possible. You can use our guides and tools without an account. We only collect personal data when you choose to send it to us: by joining the newsletter, sending a message, or submitting a club. We don’t sell personal data.
Who is responsible
MyClubGG is responsible for your personal data. Contact: support@myclubgg.com.
What we collect and why
Newsletter. Your email address, the country your request came from (derived from your IP address by our host), and campaign tags from the link you used (UTM parameters). We use these to send you the newsletter and to understand which channels work. Basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Contact form and “Contact us” widget. Your name, email address, case type, subject, message, country, and (if you choose to give them) your WhatsApp number and any files you attach. We use these to reply to you and solve your request. Attached files are stored with our hosting provider under an unguessable link that we do not publish. Basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering questions.
Getting-started help (“Free personal onboarding”). Your name, WhatsApp number, the page you were on and your country. We use these only to message you on WhatsApp with help downloading ClubGG, setting up your account and finding a club. We keep the request only as long as we need it to help you, then delete it. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by telling us on WhatsApp or by email.
Club submissions. The club details you submit, plus your name, email address and role. Contact details are never published. We use them to review the listing and contact you about it.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider processes IP addresses and basic request data to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting forms).
Tools. Our poker calculators run in your browser. The hands and numbers you enter are not sent to us.
Cookies and analytics
We only use analytics (Google Analytics 4) and marketing (Meta Pixel) cookies if you agree in our cookie banner. If you do, Google and Meta process usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type on our behalf. See our Cookie policy for details, and change your choice any time via “Cookie settings”.
Who we share data with
We use service providers to run the site: Vercel (website hosting and file storage) and Neon (database hosting), and, if you subscribe, our email service. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that conversation under its own privacy policy. Our providers process data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as our providers’ standard contractual terms.
How long we keep data
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Contact messages and attachments: up to 24 months after we reply.
- Club submissions: while the club is listed, then up to 24 months.
- Technical logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically a short period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate someone to act for you. To make a request, email support@myclubgg.com from the address you used. We’ll respond within the time the law requires.
Grievance contact: MyClubGG Grievance Officer, support@myclubgg.com.
Children
The site is for adults aged 18+. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and rate limiting to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as passwords or payment details.
Changes
We’ll update this policy when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
