What does “big blind” mean in poker?

Definition
Big blind: The larger forced bet, posted two seats left of the button. Also the unit used to measure stacks and bets.

Players often describe stack sizes and win rates in big blinds (bb) because it makes games of different stakes comparable. A 100 bb stack is the standard “full” cash-game stack.
