Heads-up play needs much wider ranges than full-ring play, because the blinds come round every hand. In heads-up games the button posts the small blind, acts first before the flop and acts last after it. Aggression and close attention to your one opponent matter more than ever.
Example: Two players remain in a tournament. The button posts the small blind and acts first preflop, raising with K♣ 4♦.
