Bounties change calling decisions because the knockout reward adds to what you can win. Covering an opponent’s stack becomes valuable, so you can call all-ins a little wider. In PKOs, players who win many knockouts carry bigger bounties, which attract wider calls against them.
Example: You cover a short stack who moves all-in. Thanks to the bounty, calling with A♣ 9♦ can be correct where it would be a fold in a regular tournament.
