In cash games the buy-in is usually a range set in big blinds. In tournaments it is a fixed entry. On ClubGG, chips and tickets have no monetary value, so buy-ins are a way of managing play rather than money. Pick games where the stack you start with suits the way you want to play.
Example: A cash table at 1/2 might allow a buy-in between 40 and 200 chips, which is 20 to 100 big blinds.
