Rebuy tournaments allow extra chip purchases during an early period, usually only when your stack is at or below the starting amount. When the period ends, players can often take a single add-on. Rules vary from event to event, so check the tournament details before you register.
Example: In a rebuy event you bust in level 2 and rebuy for a fresh starting stack. At the first break you take the add-on for extra chips.
