On wet boards many hands in both players’ ranges have real equity, so made hands are more vulnerable. Players tend to bet larger to charge draws, and slow-playing becomes risky. Knowing which turn cards change the nuts is a key skill on these textures.
Example: J♥ 10♥ 8♣ is a wet flop: it has a flush draw and many straight draws, and Q-9 already makes a straight.
