What is a ClubGG Club ID and how do you use it?

Step by step

1. 1Get the Club IDAsk the friend or club that invited you for its 6-digit Club ID, or for an invite link.
2. 2Enter it in ClubGGOpen the app, choose to join a club, and type the code. If you have a link, open it on the device where ClubGG is installed.

What a Club ID is, and what it isn’t

Every club gets a unique 6-digit Club ID when it’s created. ClubGG’s Media Guideline allows clubs to show their logo and Club ID prominently in their own promotion, which is why you often see the number on social posts.

An ID only points to a club. It isn’t a sign that the club is reliable, or that ClubGG approves of it. ClubGG says it doesn’t endorse or sponsor clubs.

Where to find Club IDs

ClubGG doesn’t give out Club IDs or promote individual clubs, so there’s no official list in the app.

• Friends who already play in a club.
• Club promoters, social media and poker forums, which is where ClubGG itself suggests looking.
• MyClubGG’s club directory, which lists clubs with their join details. We’re independent, and a listing isn’t a ClubGG endorsement.

The referrer Player ID field

When you apply, there’s a field for a referrer’s Player ID. If a member invited you, enter their ID so the club knows who referred you. If nobody did, you can usually leave it blank, though some clubs may ask for one.

Manual or automatic approval

Club owners choose how applicants get in. With manual approval, your request sits in the club’s Applicants List until an admin accepts or declines it. With Auto Approve switched on, anyone who enters the Club ID is accepted straight away.

Joining with a link

Club owners can also use the share button next to the club name to send a direct link. Opening it does the same job as typing the code: it starts your application.

Club ID or Union ID?

A Union ID is different. It has 4 digits and is used by club owners to apply for their whole club to join a union. As a player you only ever need the 6-digit Club ID.
