What is a ClubGG union and how does it work?

Checked against official sources on Independent guide by MyClubGG हिन्दी में पढ़ें

Quick answer

A ClubGG union is a group of clubs that join forces. They share game tables with entries from several clubs, union-wide leaderboards and player management across clubs. The club that creates the union is the Master Club, and its owner is the Union Master. Other clubs join with a 4-digit Union ID, and the Union Master approves them.

Key terms

  • Union: several clubs working together, with shared tables and leaderboards.
  • Master Club: the club that created the union.
  • Union Master: the owner of the Master Club, who runs the union.
  • Union ID: a 4-digit code used by club owners to apply. Players use 6-digit Club IDs instead.

Who can create a union?

A club owner can request a union in the app if the club is Level 1 or higher and has at least 50 active members. ClubGG reviews each request case by case. While the review runs, some admin features, such as playing games and creating tables, are restricted. The decision arrives by email and in the in-game inbox.

Leaving or disbanding

To leave, open the Union Flag, choose Leave the Union, enter the Union ID and confirm. For the Master Club, the same menu shows Disband Union instead. Both actions are irreversible.

What happens to your data

  • When a union is created, the Master Club’s pre-union data is hidden while the union exists.
  • If the union is disbanded, union data is permanently removed and the Master Club goes back to its pre-union state.
  • Only the Master Club sees union-wide data. Member clubs see their own.
  • ClubGG Support can’t restore lost data, so export what you need before making changes.

Union Back Office

Unions can take an optional paid Union Back Office subscription for advanced tools. ClubGG’s Unions page lists features such as affiliated club structure, game data and access settings, role and access management, login and device visibility, tournament management and club-level performance reports. ClubGG says more than 120 unions are active. Details and contact options are on clubgg.com/unions.

Naming and promotion

The same Media Guideline that covers clubs applies to unions: brand names aren’t allowed in union names, and ClubGG doesn’t promote individual unions. Listing or advertising a union never makes it official.
