What’s the difference between ClubGG and GGPoker?

Who is behind each app?

ClubGG’s About page says the app was created by the GGPoker Network and is operated by NSUS Group Inc. Its terms name NSUS Group Inc with an address in Ontario, Canada, and the app store listings show NSUS Limited as the developer. GGPoker’s own About page describes NSUS Group as GGPoker’s parent company, while GGPoker itself is run by GG International Limited.

ClubGG is the younger product. PokerNews reported that it launched in August 2021 as the network’s first club-based app.

Free play versus licensed real money

MyClubGG only covers ClubGG and doesn’t promote real-money poker on any site.

• ClubGG: its terms describe it as a free-play site only, where members can’t wager real money. Tournament tickets have no monetary value and can’t be exchanged for anything of value.
• GGPoker: a separate site that offers real-money poker and holds licences from several regulators, including the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.
• The two are not interchangeable. Rules, eligibility and legal requirements differ, so check the terms of whichever product you’re looking at.

One login: GGPass

GGPass is the GG Network’s single sign-on. ClubGG’s help centre explains that you can use an existing network account, such as GGPoker or WSOP Live, to start your ClubGG registration, or sign up fresh with an email or a social login.

Sharing a login doesn’t merge the products. Your clubs and club games live in ClubGG. All accounts under one GGPass share the same nickname and avatar, though, so a change made in one place shows up in the others.

PokerCraft on both

ClubGG calls PokerCraft an integral part of the app, and it works in both the mobile and desktop versions. GGPoker lists PokerCraft among its own features too. This guide covers the ClubGG version: see our PokerCraft page for what it tracks.

How play is organised on ClubGG

• Clubs: private, player-managed communities. You join with a 6-digit Club ID or an invite link.
• Unions: groups of clubs that share tables and leaderboards.
• Public Games: Membership Zone tournaments for WSOP+ Basic and Premium subscribers, with live-event tickets or packages as prizes. ClubGG describes itself here as a subscription sweepstakes platform, not a real-money service.
