6-max cash game, around 100 big blinds deep.
- Early position (UTG)
- Open-raise in 6-max games. Be ready to fold to a 3-bet.
- Middle position (hijack)
- Open-raise. Against an open, calling in position or 3-betting are both possible.
- Late position (cutoff, button)
- Open-raise, and 3-bet against wide opens.
- Blinds
- Raise when folded to. Against late opens, 3-bet or call.
- Facing a raise
- Call or 3-bet against late opens; fold or call against tight early ones. Fold to 4-bets.
After the flop
- A nut flush draw with ace-ten can be played aggressively as a semi-bluff.
- Top pair with a ten kicker is vulnerable against tight ranges.
- The ten helps make broadway straights (T-J-Q-K-A).
